Webley Automatic Pistols 1908 7.65mm & .32 cal / 1907 .25 Manual

4 pages, about 11" x 8", glossy soft-cover in full color. New color re-print restored and digitally enhanced from a nice but old and discolored original. Printed on high quality 20# 97 bright acid-free paper. Fully Illustrated.

It looks as if the factory was saving money when they combined manuals for two pistols although the parts of both a the same excluding the frame and barrels.

"1907 .32/7.65mm pistol- first two pages. The .25 in the last two pages is actually from 1907. Note that these are dates rather than official model names. Production of the earlier .32 was begun in late 1905 and marketed in 1906.

The easiest distinguishing features between the 1906 and 1908 are:
1. The stock plates (grips) of the 1906 are inlet into the frame, whereas the 1908 ones lie on top. You will see that the sear pivot pin can be seen in the 1906 (see attachment) but is covered in the 1908.

2. No grasping serrations on the rear of the 1906 slide.

3. The 1906 had its safety on the hammer and the trigger bar was visible.

However, there were some transitional specimens made around 1908 with some of the later model features."
