The 1885 Maynard Breech Loading Firearms
Maynard manufactured Hunting, Sporting and Target Rifles and Shotguns. They were compact and portable with detachable barrels. The barrels cold also be interchanged with other barrels allowing the user to choose different ammunition to suit his pleasure. Maynards came in all shapes and sizes; Gallery Rifles, Small game Rifle, Hunting or Target Rifle, Improved Hunting or Target Rifle, , Improved Hunting Rifle, Improved Sporting Rifle, Improved Mid-Range Target and Hunting Rifle and so on.
