Look for links to your areas of interest on the left of this page or search the entire website: On this page, scroll to the top or bottom of the page, enter what you are seeking in the Search Box and press "Submit". A new page will open in your browser with all the matching publications displayed for you to select. The search box exists at the top of each page throughout this website. Try to use as few words as possible for the best results. If you get too many results you can always narrow the search by adding words.
Our gun catalog reprints are the real thing.
They are scans of the pages of actual old catalogs that have been electronically "cleaned" and assembled into individual modern bound catalogs printed on high quality, acid free, white paper. The covers are, except as noted, heavy, shiny cover stock and are printed in color. Catalog booklets are folded and stapled, others are heat bonded with matching, adhesive fabric tape. We offer a money back guarantee. If you don't like it send it back for a refund. But the best part is that our catalog reprints are easily affordable, many are under $10.00 and few are over $20.00.
How to use this site:
This site is pretty simply arranged. We have one page that has links to all the catalogs we publish in alphabetical order. We also have multiple pages that link to different interest specialties such as Era, Reloading, British, European, Telescopes, Ammunition, Government, Mail order Catalogs etc. When you get to a particular catalog that interests you, just click on the link and the catalog page will appear. At the top of the page you will see a picture of the book, a picture of inside the book and a description including number of pages and size. You will also find ordering information and on the right side of the page, an index of the entire book so you can tell what is in the catalog. When you see 
it means the item is under six months old. I do this as an aid to folks who only visit the site occasionally so they don't have to keep running back to the recent additions page. If you don't want to use the shopping cart, just write down a list of what you want (name and year is all we need) and send us an email.
We don't make forgeries!
Some wags have complained that we are underselling the now world-wide market in ephemera by offering copies that could be confused with the real thing. We don't. Only a moron could confuse what we produce with a genuine old catalog. We make no effort to exactly copy the size, paper or binding of the originals. We sell information in a manner that allows us to reproduce a quality reprint of hard to find and usually expensive old originals at a reasonable price. Where did you get all those rare catalogs?
By buying, borrowing and saving them. But most now come from readers like you who generously share their collections to be scanned and returned undamaged. We even offer to trade our catalogs for the privilage of copying yours. If you share your catalogs with us you will be preserving the information for future generations (don't worry we store copies of our files offsite just in case...)
I don't get it!!!
Our intent, when we started preserving old sporting goods ephemera, was pretty clear. We wanted to make our collective history easier to research for future generations. We were impressed by the welcome and enthusiastic reception we received from people all over the world. Not just museum curators, historians, researchers and movie producers who understandably appreciate the availability of this material but from the rank and file collectors and those of us who are just curious about guns, related materials and history.
So, other than the "professionals", who are our customers? Many folks are simply curious about their surnames and wonder if the Biffar or Mahillion or Pope who made history a century ago could have been an ancestor. Others have heard about their great great uncle Tryon who, back East, owned a dry goods store that sold guns and want to see what he sold. Some people have collections of relic revolvers or rifles that are just pieces of metal and wood as they sit on shelves but that come alive in the pages of hundred year old catalogs that tell not only all about calibers, barrel lengths, ammunition and models, but also ropes, saddles, billies, dog collars, handcuffs, parlor guns and all the other gear our ancestor prospectors, saddle tramps, homesteaders and pioneers needed to forge the country into farms, ranches and factories of today.
Collectors and history buffs are interested in all sorts of oddities found in the pages we reprint. We get collectors of whistles, fishing rods, decoys, glass balls, ammunition, guns, sights, optics, cameras, ball bearings, plumb bobs, bar bells, archery gear and anything else you can imagine. People ask the most arcane questions and we love it (well, most of it)!
We clearly understand that the knowledge of things old that we acquire during our short lives contributes greatly to the tapestry of our being and that those of us interested in history and firearms are helped along by the massive amount of material available today to teach us. Never has it been easier to acquire the tools to educate ourselves than now. What has not been so readily available, or affordable, until our collection was as complete a portfolio of firearms material as we now offer the gun enthusiast.
We don't just offer catalogs, we also reprint old, out of print, books authored by knowledgeable experts in times gone by. Men with familiar names like Ackley, Crossman, Laidley, Roberts and Whelan. A lot of good, then contemporary, information can be gleaned from books written at the time the guns, techniques and materials were new so we encourage you to use the Books by Authors tab on the left of the website and then to sort the books by Publication Date. From there you see the list of authored books by date and it is easy to pick out specific eras to study.
